It has been some time since I last posted any articles on this blog.  The last post was about Barack Hussein Obama’s stipualtions that Cuba must make changes in its human rights policies, as well as in other areas.  The problem being that the US falls way, way short in the same areas where we are asking other nations to change.

I had intended a 3 or 4 part commentary, but things are spiralling out of control all aroind us.  Our “once great” nation has become physically, fiscally, and morally bankrupt.

Our physical infrastructure is crumbling, with hardly anything even being manufactured here any longer, foreign firms even running much of  sea ports, highways and bridges.

The nation’s fiscal outlook is worse than bleak, even depressing – literally in a depressed state.  The amount of FIAT debt is close to the same amount as our GDP.  That said;  As the banksters have taken our money, and left with it, they are holding out for more.  Another bailout is on the way, which will more than bnkrupt us.  Our armed forces and law enforcement are being used by the Department of Reichland (Homeland) Security to hold us hostage for their criminal bosses to get out the back door.  They do not work for us.  They work for the robber barron banksters, and we are simplty chattel to be used for their will.

What more can be said about our moral bankruptcy?  A nation that encourages everything BUT the God ordained family can go no where, rather it can go backward.  We encourage people not to have children, whether it be throu sterilization, abortion, same sex partnerships (Remember it takes a male and a female to conceive), and plain old greed.  If you want to have that $30,000.00 BMW, you can’t afford to have children!  If that’s your attitude, well, you’ve got another thing coming!  That Beemer will end up not providing happiness, where your children will, especially when they are raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  They will also love others as well!

“I know there is a longer journey that must be traveled in overcoming decades of mistrust, but there are critical steps we can take toward a new day,” Mr. Obama said, adding that he was “prepared to have my administration engage with the Cuban government on a wide range of issues — from human rights, free speech, and democratic reform to drugs, migration, and economic issues.

It seems that each and every time I hear the President speak, I need to ask myself, “Did he just say what I thought he said?”  I really don’t know why I’m srprised each time.  Nothing has really changed, nothing!

He says the administration must engage the Cuban government in a range of issues.  Let’s look at these issues mentioned above.

1.  Human Rights – Where do I start?  Should I start with the age-old issue of abortion?  I think I will.  If you can advocate, and expand upon, the slaughter of innocent lives, how can you hypocritically “engage” another nation on human rights?

How about the fact that we have the highest rate of incarceration in the world!  10% of of our population  is in prison (87% of those are in because of marijuana related issues.  Another thing to deal with).  The lates figure I have heard is that 1/3 of the population has a family member locked up right now.  That’s pretty scary, if you ask me.

It is reported that Obama is going to let all the prisoners in Gitmo go.  The “Conservatives” have been going bonkers over this one!  In fact, El Presidente has actually said that he will “look at the issue.”  Even if the prisoners were relaeased, they would not be running arround the streets (illegal mexicans are already doing that.  If we were really concerned with terror, shouldn’t we have sealed the border, and prevented people from coming in).  There are other Gitmos all over the place.

Bottom line – The U.S.A. has become one of the biggest violators of human rights in the world.  Oh yeah!  These things went into “full throttle” during the Bush administration, but are now going into overdrive.

We Must Take America Back by Steve Vaus

This song was rising through charts when it originally came out in 1992.  It was dropped by RCA Records, as well was Steve’s tour, etc.  RCA held the rights to the song, so it was blacklisted.

They did not like the message.  They still don’t, but Americans are beginning to hear that message again.  We have been sold down the river by those who hold to false “left versus right” ideologies.

The message for today… “It’s the Constitution, stupid!”

The Magnificence of the Lord
  Psalm 19

One afternoon, as I was leaving work, I couldn’t get over the beautiful sunset that was taking place.  It was for just a few fleeting moments, between the time of sunset and when total darkness was about to take place.  The sky was the most amazing blue color that I have ever seen in my life.  It was one of those "aha" moments that we really need every so often to remind us of the "magnificence of the Lord!"  I could have (and should have) shouted for joy right there in the Postal Service parking lot!

It was simply one of those subtle reminders from God that He is indeed the Creator of the entire universe.  No painter; Rembrandt, Renoir or Van Gogh, could with a stroke (or many strokes) of the brush, even come close to duplicating God’s artwork in the universe, past, present and future.

We need to continually remind ourselves of this fact.  If we don’t , we will continue to see the world through our bias instead of the Lord’s viewpoint.  We will continue to view things through our own experiences and frustrations.  I can remember  hearing a saying once:

I was drowning in my sorrows, but my sorrows learned to swim.

May we not drown in our sorrows, but see the MAGNIFICENCE of the Lord ALMIGHTY!

What does the Bible say about money and wealth?

Matthew 6:19-21  Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

There is nothing inherently evil about owning the things we need. However, when we strive to collect wealth or possessions beyond our need, we may neglect our duty to God, to our families, and to mankind. Jesus said that serving God and serving wealth are incompatible goals:

Matthew 6:24-34  

In Jesus’ time it was a common belief that wealth was a sign of God’s favor and poverty was God’s punishment for sin. Jesus flatly rejected that idea most clearly in the Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16:19-31). The rich man ended up in hell at least partly because of his hard-heartedness toward the beggar Lazarus. His great wealth was obviously not a sign of God’s favor. The beggar Lazarus ended up in heaven although he was about as impoverished as a man could be. His poverty was obviously not a sign of sinfulness or folly. Despite the Bible’s many warnings against it, the idea that wealth is a sign of God’s favor and that the poor have done something to deserve their condition persists as an undercurrent today that is sometimes used to justify callous economic and social policies.

The craving for wealth and possessions can lead us into all kinds of temptation. While we spend evenings and weekends earning extra money, we are depriving our families of our love and attention. We may cheat on our taxes. We may take unfair advantage of our customers, employers, or employees. We may even steal. We will attempt to rationalize our avarice by closing our minds and hearts to the needs and rights of others. In the process, we could become like Scrooge: stingy, bitter, and isolated.

Proverbs 23:4-5  Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.

Matthew 16:26  For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

1 Timothy 6:9-11  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition. For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Those of us who are blessed with wealth beyond our need have a responsibility to share generously with the less fortunate. We should view our wealth as a gift from God, entrusted to us, to carry out his work on earth.

1 John 3:17  But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

1 Timothy 6:17-19  Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.)

Dishonestly gained wealth can bring spiritual destruction to its possessor. The rationalization required to obtain and keep dishonest gain will turn a person cold and bitter. Dishonest gain brings only anxiety and fear of discovery — never peace of mind.

Leviticus 19:13  Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob him: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

Proverbs 11:1  A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.

Isaiah 33:15-16  He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.

Just two weeks into the Obama administration, it looks like his facade of “change” is definitely beginning to crack.  Newsweek Magazine has even put out its “We Are All Socialists” cover story!  When Newsweek puts out information like that, it usually means that the real story has been taking

Socialist or Feudalist

place for years.  Though their apparent candidness appears to be a breath of fresh air, we are not really Socialist at all!

True Socialism is controlled by the State.  The version we have is one more in line with “feudalism,” where there is an upper class of nobility and a lower class of serfs, which we are.  The nobility, of course, re the elite banksters and royal families who have been stealing the world’s resources, and heaping them among themselves, right under our noses.

The transition from G.W.  to Barack Obam has been a smooth transition frrom “fascism” to “feudalism.”  Trillions of dollars worth of assets have been taken from the people, and handed over to the elite, through bailouts (falsely so-called).

As long as we continue to pay attention to other things, like the Celtics, Red Sox and American Idol, our very own “bread and circuses,” we’ll continue to see our nation plummet to irrelevence.

It is now time to wake up before its too late!

In the past couple of days word has “leaked out” that Governor Deval Patrick is pondering am additional 27 1/2 cent increase in the gasoline tax, which would make Massachusetts’ tax the highest in the nation.  Look out Maine, here we come!

An Empty Idea

Though, to some, this may seem outrageous, it is really a quick “patch” to a much larger problem:  that being the entire global finacial system in general.

In short, here is something to think about.  Coffers of every single State have been decreased by about one third due to the drop in gasoline prices.  States were relying on tax revenues from gasoline costing approximately $3.00 per gallon.  When it was near or above the $4.00 mark tax revenue was at a higher level.  Now that it is lower, revenues have become lower as well, meaning that communities are not bringing in enough to meet their projected budgets.

Enter the Tax Man

As usual, instead of looking at the root of the problem, or of looking at some alternatives, the good old fashioned tax is brought out to us.  the short-sightedness of Governor Patrick, as well as most of the politicians, is simply incredible.

When will they realize that the common man has been tapped dry?  there will be nothing left to take, except, perhapes, our freedom and liberty.
